God never designed us to do life alone. He came in the flesh (known as the incarnation) and did life with His followers (friends). When He ascended into heaven, He gave His promised Holy Spirit who would work through the church - His community of believers.
We believe there is great opportunity for ministry when you live and serve in the same neighborhood. In the Old Testament we read that God's people were to pass on faith to the next generation through everyday life: when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up (Deut 6:7).
