Jewel Autism and Child Development Centre is established in the year 2008 by our honourable Director, Dr Jameson Samuel . Jewel is an INTERDISCIPLINARY THERAPY CENTRE, with a strength of 317 CHILDREN and a team of 170 PROFESSIONALS, which is one of the biggest team in India in the area of child development which is specially designed to bridge the gaps in the developmental history of a child. We deal with clients from about 32 countries.
We have services including Occupational Therapy, Child Psychology, Speech Language Pathology, Individual Education Programs, Behavioral Therapy, Physiotherapy, Group Therapy, Play Therapy, Behaviour Therapy, and Pediatric Neurology. We have incorporated international standards in all our programs along with Applied Behavioral Analysis for children with behavioral impairments and other developmental disabilities. We focus on mainstreaming these children and we have mainstreamed 55,000 children in the past 15 years. In addition to it, we have an active SOCIAL OUTREACH DEPARTMENT which aims at inclusive education for kids with autism.
Our Dubai branch "JEWEL CHILDREN WITH AUTISM AND REHABILITATION CENTER" at Sheikh Zayed Road,(next to Burj Khalifa metro station) both the biggest OT units in UAE. The faculty can cater to 200 students at a time. We are successful in mainstreaming 95% of them who completed the intervention below the age of 7. Our Dubai branch also offers the same services such as Sensory Integration Therapy, Speech Therapy, Psychotherapy, and Behavior Therapy for children with Developmental needs as many of the families relocated to India for our services leave their job and family in UAE.
Every year, we cater our therapy services to 7500 children and a daily strength of 410 children with developmental needs. We coordinate the highest therapy sessions for children from all over the globe . It is also an approved internship centre for more than 32 Universities.
