The Jewish Welfare Board

Founded in 1949 by David Marshall DKJP, the Jewish Welfare Board (JWB) is comprised of a committee of volunteers elected yearly by members of the Jewish community in Singapore.
The JWB oversees the religious, cultural, social, benevolence and educational needs of the Jewish community living in Singapore.
Among others, the JWB oversees the operations and maintenance of the Maghain Aboth Synagogue, Jacob Ballas Community Centre, Abdullah Shooker Home for the Elderly and Jewish Cemetery.
