This Community based organization was conceptualized in Feb 2019 after the Dusit Hotel terrorist attack, at a time when the country was concerned with insecurity issues. After in-depth thought of ways to curb insecurity we realized that unemployment among youths is a major factor, hence the inception of JVSA association.
Our Vision is to have empowered youths who will transform the livelihoods of slum communities through socio-economic development strategies.
Our Mission is to empower youths with technical/vocational skills to eradicate unemployment and youth-related crimes in slum communities.
Our Values are centered around honesty, integrity, and competency.
Our Goals include to
1. Establish free and affordable polytechnic workshop training centers in Kenya
2. Launch campaigns for skills empowerment within slum communities
3. Support young entrepreneurs to start businesses through funding
