John Prince Research Forest (JPRF) is co-managed by Binche Whut'en, Tl'azt'en Nation, and the University of Northern British Columbia. We are situated north of the community of Fort St. James, between Pinchi and Tezzeron Lakes. We work with students and community members to develop, implement, and understand research regarding natural resources, primarily forestry. We also maintain long-term research projects, using cameras and audio recorders across our landscape to better understand bird and wildlife uses of habitat.
