Through the Join for Joy program, primary school teachers in Chongwe District learn how to implement the power of sports and play. They obtain the knowledge and skills to create a physically and emotionally safe school environment, be leaders in promoting gender equality, and act as positive role models for their pupils. Teachers learn how to discuss social themes like malaria, HIV/AIDS, early marriages, and teenage pregnancies in schools and communities through sports and play activities.
We contribute to the following Sustainable Development Goals set by the United Nations: Good Health and Well-Being (SDG 3), Quality Education (SDG 4), and Gender Equality (SDG 5).
