Joshua House is an organization focused on helping youth find purpose. Faith is the foundational component that drives the compassion and services of Joshua House. We believe every person has a 'promised land’. Just as the biblical character Joshua led the Israelites into their promised land, we help youth understand their promised land, their purpose in life.
Some of our programs include:
*After school hours - We have an after school program where teens are fed dinner, receive academic tutoring, and get to play sports in our gymnasium.
*Youth running club - for kids in grades 1st-6th. Our team develops young runners and trains them to run a 5K, but also works hard to build their confidence and self-esteem.
*Cross-town basketball league - for junior and senior high teens
*Roller hockey - we host an roller hockey league as well as conduct clinics for youth.
*Race series - we hold four races throughout the year to promote healthy and active lifestyle in the community.
*Summer Camps - from pre-schoolers to senior high students, there are camps for all ages. Our most popular camp is our Adventure camp.
*HoopsFest - Central PA's largest outdoor 3-on-3 basketball tournament (ww.HoopsFest.Net) annually played the 3rd Saturday in July.
