JR Shooting Academy is dedicated to delivering top-tier training and skill development for aspiring basketball athletes - Founded by Joe Rosga, a former Professional and Division 1 Basketball player at the University of Denver, who is from the Twin Cities. His mission is to shape individuals into exceptional shooters by arming them with the essential tools required for success at all levels of the game. He is determined in his commitment to nurturing and perfecting shooting techniques, as well as helping each athlete gain a higher IQ for the game.
The academy ensures that each participant receives personalized attention and a comprehensive understanding of the mechanics, techniques and mental strategies that support successful shooting. Through focused training sessions, participants develop discipline, perseverance and a growth mindset – qualities that are as crucial in the game of life as they are on the basketball court.
Coach Rosga has a passion for training, developing and mentoring others. His ability to shoot the basketball brought him all over the world and now he’s ready to give back and help others accomplish what he was able to. Joe is a NASM CPT & PES certified trainer.
