JRS Silvateam Ingredients S.r.l. is a recent joint venture between the Italian group Silvateam S.p.A. and the German JRS Group with the aim to join forces in the production and sales of pectin and texturizing systems as well as distribution of tara gum. The joint venture will invest significantly in development and production of novel vegetable based texturizing solutions with high consumer acceptance to respond to the increasing demand for label friendly food ingredients.
The company presents a wide range of pectins, registered under the Aglupectin® brand, including high methoxyl pectin and conventional and amidated low methoxyl pectins. It also produces functional systems, registered under the Aglutex® brand, containing emulsifiers, stabilizers and other specific ingredients blended to improve the consistency, mouthfeel, stability, and taste of the finished products.
