Just Another Moment (JAM) is a community that provides a safe space to discuss and promote wellbeing whilst inspiring people globally through adventure, community and education. Built on a foundation of Dream | Share | Inspire, the JAM community aims to help people all across the globe overcome mental health challenges. Mental health is a global problem and is experienced by nearly everyone, whether people experience poor mental health directly or indirectly through family and friends, it is safe to say everybody knows someone who at some time suffers if not themselves. Unfortunately there is still a negative social attitude towards mental illness or people suffering from emotional distress, this stigma prevents people from feeling safe to open up and discuss how they feel. Our mission is to build a global community that encourages and supports each other to overcome mental health challenges whilst assisting them to achieve their dreams and connect with others We believe that by providing a safe space to communicate, discuss and share personal experiences, we can break the mental health stigma. It is proven that by talking and providing education around mental health reduces the stigma and boosts understanding, changing preconceived beliefs around mental health.
