We are a platform aimed at inspiring & educating youth about scuba diving and marine conservation. The name “kaia” derives from the word “kai”, which means the sea in Hawaiian — and Kaia Initiative was born of our founder's love for the sea. We’re completely run by students aged 18 and under.
We strive to ignite awareness and appreciation for the ocean among today's youth, and grow a community of like-minded youths to do our part to save the ocean.
At Kaia Initiative, we strongly believe in immersive experiences, allowing youths to experience the beauty of the ocean firsthand so that they can understand, love and protect our underwater world.
