In the East African region, our footprint extends to Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zanzibar, South Sudan, Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda, and Burundi. Our objective, across markets, is to expand our presence while maintaining our ability to serve our customers.
In each of these markets, we carry out painters’ training sessions where we impart the skills necessary to become efficient painters. Plascon is proud to be East Africa’s biggest paint company providing quality products and colours that meet the needs of all customers.
Our global position is supported by a strong commitment to R&D. Our R&D Headquarters in Japan consists of five research institutes and one research testing center. One-third of all KansaiPaint employees in Japan are involved in research and development activities relating to Basic Research, Coating Development, Application Development and Colour Design.
Through our focus on global development and by strengthening coordination between all companies in the Kansai Paint Group, we are also working to promote technological development to meet the needs and standards of countries around the world, as well as building a talent pool capable of collaborating on a global scale.
