On Tap is the easily accessible, deployable, and extensible foundation upon which Autodesk Wiretap can develop a full complement of offline project, user, asset, and facility management tools. It is the means by which customers can increase the creative and productive yield from their use of IFFS workstations. It is also the means by which Autodesk’s presence in a customer facility can extend beyond the specialized creative operator or facility engineer to a broader spectrum of creative and non-creative agents inside and outside the facility.
On Tap, to date, is a collaborative development effort between Autodesk and Karbonized Software—a specialist in developing rich internet applications built for the Flash platform.
