Karratha Community House Inc. Company Profile, Contacts & Intelligence
Karratha Community House Inc. Overview
Operating since the 1990s and incorporated in 2006, KCH is a not-for-profit, community-driven organisation whose mission is to connect families through play-based learning. Our vision is a connected community where all our children can learn and grow. In 25 years of operation, KCH has grown from a small organisation that ran 2 volunteer-led weekly playgroups, to a team of around 20 employees with a dedicated facility at the Pam Buchanan Family Centre, our home since 2012. Each year, our community programs and events are delivered to over 2,000 Karratha residents. We run a diverse schedule of family-centric, play-based learning programs, such as the Once Upon a Time (early literacy program), Coffee and Craft, Holyoake Drumbeat (free program run at local schools), and Parent-Child Mother Goose (free, song-based program). Our most popular programs are our drop and go programs, such as Ready, Set, School (kindy readiness), Little Explorers and Playtime.
