Join us in the mission to amplify the unheard voices of Kashmir! The “KashmirUnheard” project was born in the midst of the 2014 floods, when a group of passionate young activists gathered to learn the art of video-making. Since then, our team has grown to include 18 Community Correspondents from across Jammu and Kashmir, all dedicated to bringing attention to the issues that matter most to our communities.
Our process is simple, but effective: we seek out the stories that often go untold, the stories of remote villages and silenced women. We convene community gatherings to ensure we have their support and understand their message. And we identify a ‘call to action’ that allows our viewers to get involved and make a difference.
From flood relief to human rights, and everything in between, we produce reports that inspire social change and show the world the true heart of Kashmir. Watch, listen, and most importantly, take action. Join us in amplifying the voices of those who have been unheard for too long.
