The family founded social responsibility project that grew into one of the largest non-profits in Eastern Türkiye with the aim of preserving local heritage through experiential tourism.
The open-air museum site includes 16 venues and an active agricultural land which incorporates permanent & temporary exhibitions as well as workshop spaces which are available to public.
The family-run museum is supported by a voluntary Board of Directors as well as a voluntary Board of Advisors consisting of leading names in their respective fields that ensures a sustainable future for the organization.
The boutique museum hotel Loru Han, integrated with the museum facilitates rooms for private/corporate stays, a restaurant for local gastronomy in addition to seasonal festivals as well as residencies hosted by the museum which are "Artist in Residence", "Composer in Residence" and "Chef in Residence".
Listed among "7 Museums in the World to Visit" by Corriere della Sera's Dove Magazine.
