The Kent Association of Headteachers is here to enable headteachers across Kent to work together to deliver the best learning environments for children in Kent.
Every Headteacher in Kent is automatically a member of the KAH, and are given the opportunity to elect representatives to work on the Area and Executive Boards to support and facilitate school-led improvement across the County.
We work with a range of partners, including the local authority, as we influence strategic planning for school improvement county-wide.
The KAH ensures that its working groups are fully representative of all schools in Kent. This means our Executive Committee and Area Boards have representatives from special schools, primaries, secondaries, multi-academy trusts and pupil referral units.
Our aims are to:
-Support school-led continuous improvement of performance
-Increase leadership capacity in the county's schools
-Promote partnerships and networks that support school-led improvement
-Act as the voice of Kent headteachers
