The Kentucky Student Council Association (KYSCA) empowers students across the Commonwealth to address needs and take action. At our core, we enable students to serve, engage, recognize, voice, enrich, and support their diverse communities. Whether you have a student council or not, we provide actionable guidance on how schools can maximize their potential through student leadership. Have a council? Engage with us through bi-annual student leadership conferences focused on developing the skills student leaders need in order to make a difference in their schools. Do not currently have a council or not well established? Book our immersive training experience which is tailored specifically toward each school's needs. Included are student leadership and faculty professional development, classroom curriculum, including 24 unique student grading rubrics, and all the necessary frameworks that will set you up for success. Our training will ignite the passion in your students and faculty to make positive changes in their environments.
