We are an activist collective supporting the mental health and wellbeing of kapwa Filipino social justice defenders. We provide social justice and indigenous/critical psychology-informed mental health and psychosocial support to activists at risk, while practicing trauma-informed care and LGBTQ+ affirmative counseling. We also provide psychosocial security consultancies and collective care workshops to movements and rights organizations.
We were formalized last July 3, 2020 to resist and stand against the Republic Act 11479 or Anti-Terror Law, which has been abused to suppress dissent and freedom of assembly, creating truly terrorizing and marginalizing environments. There is no ginhawa or wellbeing in environments with political repression, oppression, and corruption.
We stand with anger and shout #ActivistsNotTerrorists and #JunkAntiTerrorLaw. We also call to #SurfaceAllDesaparecidos, surface all activists that have been Disappeared (o winala) by the Duterte and Marcos Administrations; and to free all political detainees who are red-tagged or criminalized because they chose to defend the wellbeing of their kapwa Pilipino.
