The Keswick Foundation (KF) was established in 1979 by Sir John Keswick and his daughter, Maggie Keswick Jencks.
Sir John was the Chairman of Jardine Matheson Ltd from 1952 to 1956. He spent much of his life in China and Hong Kong where he developed a deep regard for all things Chinese. As part of his legacy, Sir John wanted to give something back. This desire resulted in the setting up of KF.
Today, KF is managed by a team of dedicated volunteers and professionals who are committed to the vision set forth by Sir John and Maggie in facilitating long-term and impactful service development and capacity building to address social needs in Hong Kong and Mainland China.
