The Kids Connecting Parents App is designed to help parents and carers, who are living with child loss. to easily find and connect with each other in their local area – providing a unique opportunity for them to build strong networks of emotional support.
Kimberly Stevens created the app following the loss of her teenage son Ethan to leukaemia in 2021. With a deep understanding of grief and loss, and her experience as a psychologist, she wanted to find a way to help other parents who were also living with child loss.
It is her hope that parents and carers who are living with the loss of their child or children, find each other and make genuine connections of emotional support, creating ripples in family healing that is felt for many generations to come.
