The Kirk Gibson Foundation for Parkinson’s Wellness understands the importance of exercise and movement in managing symptoms and potentially slowing the progression of the disease. It provides funding for activity-based programs and therapies that improve the quality of life for those living with Parkinson’s.
The Foundation will open the Kirk Gibson Center for Parkinson's Wellness in Farmington Hills, Michigan in mid-2025. This state-of-the-art Center will provide FREE programming for people with Parkinson's and support for their care partners. (See anticipated activities listed below.) 60+ volunteers will be needed to help the Center's professional staff and professional coaches with daily operations at the front desk and as volunteer coaches assisting in classes. Expertise is not necessary. Volunteer at kirkgibsonfoundation.org
"Moving Mountains for Parkinson's" - an inspirational team from the Foundation will climb Mt. Kilimanjaro in August 2025 to raise funds and awareness.
