Klíma ťa potrebuje began as an initiative of several individuals, which grew into an idea shared by thousands of people all over Slovakia. We are a group of people who are aware of the threat posed by the climate crisis to the future of our survival on this planet. But we are also not giving up and we are ready to solve the crisis. The main goal of the Klíma ťa potrebuje is to achieve a state of carbon neutrality in Slovakia in a just and socially considerate way, significantly before 2050. For a real, comprehensive, solution to the climate crisis today, in addition to sufficient knowledge, systemic solutions and a clear plan, we need an actively engaged citizens. As an organization we aim to educate, engage and mobilize a broad public support in order to create a strong grassroot climate movement that can positevly influnecne the social and climate policies, as well as the systemic solutions necessary to stop climate change and create a better, fairer, and more sustainable future for all.
