KoreaPEN is the Korean Central Office (CO) of PEN Worldwide, which can be found at www.penworldwide.org.
KoreaPEN sets up Practice Enterprises, also known as Virtual Enterprises or Practice Firms. It assists organizations in starting Practice Enterprises and developing PE programs for university students, youth, and job seekers. These programs aim to build a global career profile and provide working experiences within a network of over 7,000 practice enterprises across Europe, America, Australia, and Asia.
Adopting the LEARNING by DOING approach, KoreaPEN strives to offer value-enhanced learning and experiences to individuals involved or aspiring to be part of the business world. It aims to help them become future global business leaders and entrepreneurs. Participants in Practice Enterprises get the opportunity to work in a global simulated business environment, taking on serious responsibilities in various areas such as Administration, Accounting/Finance, Marketing, Sales/Purchasing, Business Development, R&D, Intellectual Property, Human Resources, and CSR/ESG/SDG. Throughout this process, participants gain a comprehensive understanding of organizational concepts and global business development. This experience helps them develop and enhance various business skills and competencies, making them more employable in real companies and the business world.
Through KoreaPEN, participants also learn and experience the A-Z of starting and managing their own companies. Upon completion of the program and meeting the requirements set in the PE program, trainees receive international certificates recognized by PEN Worldwide, KoreaPEN, and EU Lifelong.
