William (Bill) Koska is an aggressive litigator of environmental issues and toxic torts. His knowledge and experience handling environmental concerns, including compliance with water, land and air requirements, is lengthy and impressive.
From cases involving the inhalation of cancer-causing insecticides, benzene, asbestos and mold to deadly exposure to chemicals through the air, drinking water or in the earth, Mr. Koska has represented clients both as plaintiffs and defendants in certain types of litigation. He is equally comfortable on either side of the counsel table, whether representing an individual, small business or large corporation.
He has handled matters involving CERCLA, CEQA, Clean Air Act, Proposition 65, the California Public Utilities Commission, federal and state safe drinking water laws, UST's, mold, and air quality issues for a variety of clients, both large and small. He has also represented developers, subcontractors and individuals in real estate matters involving construction defect, environmental, boundary and partition issues.
The Law Firm was begun in December 2008 when Bill Koska decided to form a firm devoted to the types of business for which he had a passion. His new firm formed an alliance with John Campbell’s longtime firm in San Diego. The Campbell firm had a number of attorneys, with a northern California location and other licensees in Nevada. These features meshed well with Bill’s experience representing large corporations in complicated environmental matters spilling across state boundaries.
John was winding down his practice at the same time Bill wanted to expand and grow his practice.
A new opportunity came about through one of John’s partners leaving and joining Fredrickson, Mazeika & Grant, a well-known, prestigious firm with four (4) offices in three states. The experience of the firm, coupled with the multi-talented attorneys in each office was an excellent fit for Bill’s firm.
