Kringwinkel Hageland has 7 hip second hand shops in region Hageland and an online shop www.uwkringding.be. It's part of a network of secondhand shops troughout whole Flanders.
This non-profit organisation collects almost 4000 tons of re-useable materials in one year. These materials are given a second life when they're sold in the Kringwinkel shops. De Kringwinkel reduces waste and enhances social economy. Over 80% of the people working in the organisation are longtime unemployed or have a limited education level. De Kringwinkel invests stringly in their image and communications and evolved from a "dusty" unpopular image to a hip and young and original image. De Kringwinkel proves that non-profit can be very cool.
Since 2016 there's also a new online shop where you can find simular products than in the 4 shops of De Kringwinkel Hageland: www.kringshop.be. There's also www.uwkringding.be (a second hand auction site).
Since 2019 their is our boutiqur shop in Tienen. It's called ABOUT QUEENS and their dresses.
De Kringwinkel Landen is also a circular experience center. It opened the doors in september 2021. You can find our youngest Kringwinkel / circular economy experience center at Domein 't Park Hannuitsesteenweg 80 Landen (entrance, GPS: Koningin Astridlaan). Welcome!
