Established in 1993, KSA Kosher emerged in response to the community's demand for a Kashrus agency that would uphold the highest standards while providing exceptional customer service. Founded by Rabbi Binyomin Lisbon, who possessed extensive experience working with local agencies, KSA garnered support from over 35 local Rabbis and received endorsement from Rabbi Don Yoel Levy, the late kashrus administrator of the OK labs.
Recognizing the need to demystify the concept of "kosher" among manufacturers who mistakenly believed it involved a simple blessing by a rabbi, Rabbi Binyomin Lisbon diligently and persistently met with food and beverage producers. His efforts yielded impressive results.
KSA has witnessed tremendous growth, evolving into one of the world's largest Kosher supervising agencies. With offices in New York, Florida, Shanghai, Jerusalem, and South America, its headquarters resides in Los Angeles, serving not only the Western United States but also extending its reach further afield.
As a member of AKO (Association of Kashrus Organizations), a comprehensive organization that sets the highest national kashrus standards, KSA maintains reciprocal working relationships with virtually all other agencies globally.
Undoubtedly, the exponential growth of KSA is attributable, in no small measure, to the exceptional reputation of its expert team of Rabbis and staff, led by the esteemed Rabbi Yechezkel Auerbach.
