At the start of 2023 I parted ways with my job and a traditional career path. I'm taking the time to pursue my dreams of traveling the world and figure out what I was brought on this earth to do. The journey hasn’t been easy; in fact, it’s been harder than I could have ever imagined. künstlerroaming is a collection of personal reflective essays, prose, poetry and photography – from the perspective of someone in their 20s who's dealing with uncertainty, change, doubt, and transformation. I want to be vulnerable about the ups and downs of my journey, to share the beauty and the struggle. I hope my story will resonate with people of all ages, but especially other young people trying to figure their shit out. The German word künstlerroman comes from künstler (artist) and‎ roman (novel); it translates to an artist’s novel, an artist’s coming-of-age story. künstlerroaming is mine.
