Læs for Livet - for børn og unges lige mulighed for et godt liv.
Alle børn og unge har fortjent at vokse op med bøger. Også dem i svære livsvilkår, som fx bor på børnehjem eller krisecenter.
Derfor indsamler vi bøger fra private, forlag, anmeldere, forfattere og mange andre. De doneres til steder, hvor børn og unge med svære livsvilkår opholder sig.
Vores fokus er lystlæsningen. Den kan være driften bag social mobilitet, gode oplevelser og bredere horisonter.
Læs for Livet er en nonprofit-organisation, der blev stiftet i 2012 af Rachel Röst. Hun er forfatter og cand. mag i litteraturvidenskab og leder Læs for Livet i dag. Hun blev selv anbragt som 16-årig, og bøger har haft en afgørende betydning for hendes livsbane.
