L'Bash Overview

L’Bash is a purpose-driven social enterprise established in Jordan to empower skilled women from underprivileged communities by promoting their handmade creations. From 2020 to 2022, we partnered with the Princess Taghrid Institute for Development & Training and collaborated with talented women artisans from underserved areas, offering them access to online markets, sustainable income opportunities, and greater recognition for their craftsmanship. In addition to economic empowerment, our mission is to revive and celebrate Jordan’s rich heritage through traditional clothing and designs—honoring cultural identity while making it relevant for today’s conscious consumers. Through this work, L’Bash contributes to SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities by helping preserve intangible cultural heritage and supporting inclusive, creative local economies rooted in tradition and storytelling.
