The association "L'Université Numérique" brings together French Thematic Digital Universities (Universités Numériques Thématiques -UNT). UNTs are groupings of higher education institutions created to support these institutions in the development of their digital policies through mutualization. Their missions are:
Promoting the success and equal opportunities for students in initial training.
Supporting teachers in the production, appropriation, mutualization, and integration of resources in their teaching to promote pedagogical innovation.
Developing standard training pathways based on open educational resources for bachelor's, master's, and doctoral levels.
Expanding the offerings of continuous education and lifelong learning.
Assisting and advising institutions in the development of their digital policies.
Supporting digital research in all disciplines.
Showcasing the digital educational heritage of higher education.
Facilitating synergies among initiatives to create collaborative multi-partner projects.
The association "L'Université Numérique" aims to:
Promote the use of digital technology in service of university institutions.
Foster common actions among thematic digital universities.
Highlight the efforts of thematic digital universities and their members while respecting their specificities, especially through the development of a common communication policy in France and internationally.
Coordinate the actions of thematic digital universities and provide them with a single point of contact, especially in their interactions with the Conference of University Presidents, the Ministry responsible for higher education, or international institutions.
