Born in Tequila, Mexico, La Cofradia is a drink which embodies the intersection of tradition, art, originality, and good quality tequila.
We pride ourselves on remaining integral in the process used to create our tequila - the same one that was used 50 years ago when La Cofradia was founded, whilst incorporating modern technology in order to share La Cofradia with the world. Crafted with ingredients such as the Blue Webber Agave and yeast from ancient leafy mango trees, all inputs are grown locally in Mexico, where our tequila is produced and bottled.
Each bottle is uniquely hand-painted and crafted by local ceramic-moulder artist communities, making each bottle a statement of its own as a decoration or statement piece, irrespective of its contents. Having said this, we think what’s inside is just as beautiful!
La Cofradia translates to the ‘meeting of friends’ on the lands where it is produced - thus our tequila symbolises coming together and savouring our drink surrounded by good company. Made to enjoy slowly and articulately, we recommend saving La Cofradia for serving over ice, or in your best cocktail, so as to pick up on each flavour accent in our tasting notes (you can find these on our website).
