Home to the Omega Laser Facility, the world's largest lasers in academia. The Laboratory for Laser Energetics is a world-leading research facility dedicated to advancing laser science and technology. Located at the University of Rochester, LLE conducts research in a variety of areas, including laser fusion, high-energy-density physics, and materials science. Our vision is to be the leading academic institution advancing laser technologies, fusion, frontier science, and high-energy-density science at scale. Mission Areas: 1.
