The Lacon Group has operated as a full-service mechatronics supplier in Europe for 40 years and is one of the Top 20 EMS providers in Germany. The Group achieves a turnover of almost 60 million euros annually. The Group sees itself as being an EMS accelerator and is able to realise complete products. The owner-managed company with CEO Dr Ralf Hasler, CFO Christian von der Linde and COO Afrem Alfia has grown steadily since 1985 and is based in Karlsfeld near Munich. The SME employs around 250 people in Germany and 350 in its Romanian subsidiary. Lacon’s broad customer and product base includes broadliners and specialists from all industries, it mainly produces rail systems, mechanical engineering and box build, medical engineering, automotive and robotics, as well as innovative consumer products. Lacon supports international technology corporations, SMEs and innovative start-ups. In addition to its development and production business, it also sells electromechanical components for cable and printed board connection technology and for box build. Depending on the requirements analysis, the EMS accelerator supports and advises its customers purposefully, from the prototyping to the industrialisation through to the complete series, for the entire life cycle of the products. The Lacon Group has embedded development, Euroconnectors Distribution and high-volume production facilities in Romania. Lacon Electronic covers the complete production service for electronic modules, devices and systems along the entire value chain. Lacon develops, optimises and produces electronic and electromechanical modules and devices with any production depth. Lacon SRL produces with German quality standards at Romanian factor costs.
