Lars Snellaars is in 2006 afgestudeerd aan de Design Academy in Eindhoven en sindsdien werkzaam binnen zijn eigen ontwerpstudio. Lars ontwerpt nog altijd op de klassieke manier waarbij hij zich vooral laat inspireren door vorm en functie van ontwerpen buiten de meubelindustrie. Vanuit de vezels van de klant ontwerpt Lars en zijn team een concept waaruit een product of commercieel interieur ontstaat. “Voor mij blijft het mooiste product om te ontwerpen toch een stoel. Dat is pure architectuur. Een stoel is veel meer dan alleen een gebruiksvoorwerp. Een stoel karakteriseert visie, vorm en functionaliteit waarbij het individu in zijn omgeving centraal staat.”
