Founded by filmmaker Mohammed Alhamoud in 2017, Last Scene Films is a Riyadh-based production house specialized in producing independent arthouse films and shorts. Its debut feature LAST VISIT by Abdulmohsen Aldhabaan is the first Arab film selected at East of the West Competition in Karlovy Vary International Film Festival & the Jury Award winner at Marrakech IFF. Last Scene produced award-winning shorts such as SILAH by Hussam Alhulwah, the winner of Best Director Award at the Saudi Film Festival, and ERTIDAD by Mohammed Alhamoud, the first Saudi film to be selected in the International Competition of Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival.
