Latina Leads is a non-profit organization based in Atlanta, Georgia, dedicated to developing and empowering the Latina Leaders of Tomorrow. Our mission is to foster strong values, leadership, self-esteem, entrepreneurship, communication, and a commitment to community service among young Latinas ages 8 to 18.
Our program will be based on 3 Pillars: Faith, Leadership and Communication.
Faith: This pillar aims to instill a strong sense of spiritual growth and values among the participants, helping them build a foundation in God that guides their life, actions and decisions as future leaders.
Leadership: Pillar that aims to equip the young Latina girls with essential leadership skills, fostering self-confidence, decision-making abilities, and a sense of empowerment to become strong leaders in various spheres of life.
Communication: This pillar focuses on developing strong communication, public speaking and media literacy among the girls, enabling them to create content to express their ideas, share their leadership and self-esteem learnings, advocate for themselves and their communities, and build meaningful connections.
Through our comprehensive programs, including a Summer camp, monthly workshops, and an annual summit, we aim to empower these young girls with the skills and confidence necessary to become successful leaders in their communities and beyond.
