Laurentian Chief is a brand of traditional footwear inspired by shoes worn by First Nations people across Canada. Our company, Eugène Cloutier, has been manufacturing moccasins, slippers, mukluks, and snow shoes since 1945. Our team of local artisans works together to create the best Amerindian footwear ever.
The moccasins and boots, inspired by Indian art, are hand crafted out of leather, suede or wild moose hide. Each creation answers to its mission: for outdoor or indoor use, for the traditional snowshoe walk, by the fireside or for daily activities. We take pride in our moose hide moccasins and slippers: appearance, softness to the touch and incomparable suppleness.
