Life Cycle Sustainability (LCS) is a new research group at the Department of Sustainability and Planning at Aalborg University.
Formerly a part of the Danish Center for Environmental Assessment, the group joins together researchers in industrial ecology and LCA. Coordinated by Massimo Pizzol, the group builds on decades of experience in these domains, and on the energy and dedication of a fast-growing team of researchers to develop scientific approaches, methods, tools, and databases.
The backbone of LCS is systems thinking and life cycle thinking, interdisciplinarity, and sound science to support decisions towards sustainability.
