Le Greenhouse è il primo Consorzio di aziende specializzate nella coltivazione in ambiente agrofotovoltaico.
I primi impianti agricoli in ambiente fotovoltaico sono stati realizzati sulla costa tirrenica calabrese nel 2011 con Lao Greenhouse soc. agr. a r.l. e sulla costa ionica con Sybaris Greenhouse soc. agr. a r.l.. Nel 2018 il progetto è stato replicato in Umbria e successivamente nel 2019 in Sardegna con Sardinia Greenhouse soc. agr. a r.l.
Ad oggi la continua sperimentazione ed il costante monitoraggio consentono di registrare dati importati in termini di sostenibilità, esortando Le Greenhouse ad un crescente impegno nel connubio vincente tra generazione di energia elettrica e produzione agricola su tutto il territorio italiano.
Il Consorzio presta consulenza alle società che operano nel settore fornendo un pacchetto di progettazione di piani di miglioramento fondiario e coordinamento della realizzazione di nuovi impianti agrofotovoltaici, con fornitura di sistemi di monitoraggio volti all’ottimizzazione dei fattori di produzione e un’eventuale successiva gestione.
