Leadership Kokomo is a cooperative effort between the City of Kokomo, Ivy Tech Community College and The Greater Kokomo Economic Development Alliance. The Leadership Kokomo (LK) program began in 1982 and since that time has nearly 700 graduates. Over the 36-year period, more than 150 small businesses, corporations, non-profit agencies have supported LK sending participants through the program. The community at large has benefitted from LK graduates serving in various capacities in community organizations and projects completed by Leadership Kokomo classes. From food drives, to building and landscaping projects, LK alumnus have left their mark of service all over Howard County.
