Leaders of Today focuses on tackling the issue of youth disengagement with the community. Youth will become proactive leaders only when they are allowed to focus on issues that they are passionate about. When given resources and freedom to tackle the community’s issues by themselves, youth will feel a sense of belonging and motivation to better the society they are a part of.
Since 2018, we've focused on a specific sector of society each year and held events to reintroduce them to our community. In 2019, we focused on intergenerational relationships and collaborated with senior centers in our community. In 2020, we organized a Night Market Opportunities Fair to link youth with local businesses and organizations. In 2021, we look forward to continuing our mission: reinvigorating and amplifying the voices of all social sectors through youth leadership.
