Welcome to Learnco, a specialised learning company founded by Rabia Edries. Rabia has a Masters in Education (M.Ed) with 20 years experience in education and a specialisation in developing Executive Functioning Skills to students of all ages.
Learnco provides learning support to students at school as well as adults learners. Our services also include parent support, consultations with schools and learning institutions, and mentoring teachers and student-teachers. The focus is on how to learn best by developing thinking and learning skills.
Executive Functioning skills is a set of thinking skills that we use everyday to learn, work and manage life. It is referred to as the management system of the brain, because these skills let us set goals, plan and get things done. These skills are: Planning and prioritising, organisation, self-control, task initiation, time management, metacognition, working memory, attention, flexibility and perseverance.
