The philosophy of the Bhagavad Gita is meant to be spoken one-on-one.
Its a very personal philosophy of life.
In a typical Bhagavad Gita class, speaker conducts session based on the general understanding of people. But, everyone’s spiritual level in a class is different. Someone may be at a very base level of understanding and he may need more personal attention.
If we miss few classes then there is disconnect and backlog which becomes difficult to cope up with.
There are many questions we might not feel comfortable asking in a class of say 50 or a 100 people.
Advantages of personalised (one-on-one) sessions :
Teacher can mould himself based on the level and understanding of the student
Time and place are mutually decided between the teacher and student. Mutually convenient time and place is selected.
Venue can be home or office
Even if you miss the session one week, you start next week from where you left the last week
So there is never a backlog and disconnect
All personal questions can be asked without hesitation
You do not need to go anywhere. Wherever you are session happens there every week
Also frequency of sessions can be increased or decreased based on availability of teacher and student
