Legal Adjacency is a boutique legal practice specializing in simplifying legal documents and legal operations.
Led by lawyer-entrepreneur Marty Finestone, we help legal and business teams thrive through better outcomes. We do this by using legal expertise and law adjacent methods to simplify and solve the challenges that matter most to our clients.
WHAT WE DO

In practice, we do three things:
1) Design clear, engaging, useable, and easy to negotiate plain language contracts.
2) Develop strategies, processes, and tools for our clients to simplify and improve their legal functions.
3) Run sprints, workshops, and other facilitated activities to help our clients untangle and address problems in new and human-centered ways.
Many of our clients operate in technology, education, manufacturing, and government. We work with teams of all sizes from in-house legal, finance, procurement, and contract management teams. Sometimes we work with several of those departments together. We love when that happens.
The common thread between our clients is a desire to do something different to do legal better. We help them get to better.
