Spécialiste reconnue du tissage 100 % lin, elle crée aussi bien pour le marché de l’ameublement et de la décoration haut de gamme, que pour l’habillement et les accessoires. 100 % de la production est réalisée dans son usine d’Halluin ( Hauts de France ), grâce à des machines dernière génération et un personnel qualifié. L’entreprise perpétue un savoir-faire français séculaire préservant le Made in France dans une industrie où le fabriqué en France fait figure d’exception. Tissage français certifié MASTERS OF LINEN, Lemaitre Demeestere est aussi labellisée Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant, FRANCE TERRE TEXTILE et OEKOTEX. En 2020, Lemaitre Demeestere intègre le groupe Natup, coopérative agricole qui a pour objectif de recréer une chaîne de valeur 100 % française autour du lin. Ce rachat était un préalable à l’ouverture de La French Filature, filature de lin normande qui a produit ses premiers fils en mars 2022.
Founded in 1835, Lemaitre Demeestere is one of the oldest textile French companies. A recognised specialist in 100% linen weaving, it creates fabrics for the top-of-the-range furniture and decoration markets, as well as for clothing and accessories. 100% of production is carried out at its Halluin factory (Hauts de France), using the latest generation machines and qualified staff. The company is perpetuating age-old French know-how, preserving the Made in France concept in an industry where Made in France is the exception. A MASTERS OF LINEN-certified French weaver, Lemaitre Demeestere has also been awarded Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Company) label, FRANCE TERRE TEXTILE and OEKOTEX. In 2020, Lemaitre Demeestere became part of the Natup group, an agricultural cooperative whose aim is to recreate a 100% French value chain around linen. This acquisition was a prerequisite for the opening of La French Filature, a flax spinning mill in Normandy.
