Let's Start Up! Overview

Let’s Start Up! is a grand, entirely student-organized, non-profit initiative consisting of five independent parts. The main objective of the project is to boost a fast-evolving entrepreneurial approach of Polish students from all over country. LSU! Conference - A professionally organized, international startup conference. 12 inspiring entrepreneurs to share their original, highly motivating stories. This year we are heading towards a more demanding objective – to gather entrepreneurs from around the world – representing different societes, different cultures or beliefs. 3 Day StartUp - Entrepreneurial students from all over the country and their experienced mentors gather for 3 days to work on new business projects that would soon collect money to start off and conquer the national startup scene. The last day of the venture boils down to an official finale with venture funds, where the teams pitch their newly invented startups. Dragons’ Den - A TV programme widely known for the British and American editions. 5 Dragons – prominent angel investors meet rookie startupers who enter the „den” to come back home with capital in exchange for certain share of their companies. For the first time ever, the event was held by the students in 2014, meeting an unexpected success. LSU! Workshops - A series of professional, day-long workshops concerning all practical aspects of establishing, financing and handling one’s business. One of the main objectives of the initiative is to provide participants with hands-on skills. Their tutors – entrepreneurs and business angels themselves will focus on sharing their own experience so as to inspire youth. LSU! Expo - A first-ever startup expo – for students to search for a demanding job, for entrepreneurs to find employees and to promote service they provide. Visitors of the event will have a chance to participate in numerous presentations, discussion panels and to personally meet entrepreneurs from all over Poland.
