LIFE Green Valleys aims to restore vulnerable nature in the Green Valleys and Pikhakendonk in Belgium and Ilanka valley, Pilszka valley, Młodno en Koźminek in Poland.
The project aims to achieve three overarching goals: restoring and protecting wetlands and river-valleys and all species associated to these habitats, creating innovative solutions for residual biomass, and involving and engaging with all stakeholders.
By protecting these habitats, we aim to protect extraordinary species such as the bee orchis (Ophris apifera), the great crested newt (Triturus cristatus) and the Desmoulin's whorl snail (Vertigo moulinsiana).
