We are a safety education charity dedicated to reducing injuries and harm by promoting safe and healthy living through our Primary School Programme and Independent Living Programme.
Our Bristol based venue opened in 2000 and is designed as a lifelike village with realistic scenes that are linked to different safety themes. Scenes include homes, a road, an alleyway, a railway platform, a park, a diner, and a beach.
Through guided safety tours led by volunteers, people learn:
• To identify everyday hazards and explore the associated risks at home and in the community.
• To consider behavioural choices and gain an understanding of the potential consequences of their decisions.
• The correct actions to take to eliminate or reduce the risk of harm to themselves and others.
We use interactive exhibits, props, and effects which makes it an exciting, memorable experience and enables people to learn about safety in a fun and practical way.
