In the State of Texas, whole-body donation is regulated by the State Anatomical Board (SAB). Life Tree Anatomical is the only non-university based Willed Body Program approved by the SAB.
We have this distinction for many reasons. Our program is run by physicians, nurses, and other end-of-life caretakers. We believe following strict regulations is a must, and we follow all Texas state laws. We only work with approved education organizations who have been vetted out to our highest levels. Our slogan is “Texas First” which means your whole body donation stays in Texas to support our Texas medical education system and training centers until all Texas needs are met. Other commercial whole body programs may send your gift to other countries.
